Cremation offers the opportunity to preserve the memory of the deceased in a much more individual way: some scatter the ashes, others keep the urn at home, or bury it in a family grave in the cemetery.
In Latvia, the process of cremation is strictly regulated by laws, and certain norms and rules must be followed when performing it. Crematoriums are equipped with special furnaces designed to carry out this procedure with dignity and in accordance with the law.
