First steps and what to do in the event of the death of a loved one
The death of a loved one is a difficult and emotionally painful experience that we all face sooner or later.
The death of a loved one also involves a series of organizational matters that need to be addressed and managed. Our funeral home, ANGEL, will assist you during this difficult time.
If the death occurred in a hospital
The medical staff will perform all necessary procedures, the attending physician will issue a certificate stating the cause of death, and upon receipt of this medical document, based on the certificate and the deceased person's documents (passport or ID card), the registry office will issue a death certificate.
If the death occurred at home
Immediately call emergency medical services and/or the police to confirm the fact of death. After receiving the certificate stating the cause of death, it will be necessary to arrange for the deceased to be transported to the morgue, which can be done at any time of the day. Transportation is arranged by the funeral home.
After these steps, relatives of the deceased must visit the attending physician with the certificate issued by emergency medical services, and the attending physician will issue a certificate stating the cause of death. The next step is to obtain the death certificate from the registry office, based on the certificate stating the cause of death and the deceased person's documents (passport or ID card).
