Document Checklist for Repatriation

  • Certificate from the cemetery where the deceased will be buried

The death certificate must be translated into the official language of the repatriation country, the certificate must be notarized, and an apostille must be attached.

Additional documents may be added to the mandatory list depending on the repatriation country, from or to which the repatriation takes place, as it is a highly individual process, and each country has its own repatriation service regulations and laws.
